1)      Assist in the imple­mentation of laws and policies   concerning local government;

2)      Assist and evaluate comprehensive   local development plans and program, Coordinating and       integrating community development efforts;

3)      Assist and coordinate with other agencies in the implementation of nutrition program in the community; and

4)      Encourage families grow nutritious vegetables and fruits through backyard gardening to augment family income.
