1)      Collection of market and slaughter   fees and other taxes due to the City govern­ment within the market area and other public places;

2)      Maintaining and keep­ing in good opera­tional conditions all market and slaughter­house   buildings, structures and facil­ities. Sanitation and cleanliness of market and slaughterhouse and its premises are to be maintained at all times;

3)      Preparation and sub­ Hospital submission of operation reports, financial statements and other information pertain­ing to the market and slaughter management and directions. Likewise, market personnel, particu­larly the inspectors and collectors are to be rotated in the performances of their duties and responsibilities for job familiarizations and to make them growth-oriented.  This is also aimed in in­creasing their efficiency and maxi­mizing their perfor­mance;

4)      Collection of equip­ment rentals and other fees from both government and pri­vate sectors who shall avail of the motor pool’s equipment and services;

5)      Maintaining and keep­ing in good opera­tional conditions of equipment, machinery and its building structures and facil­ities;

6)      Preparation and Sub­mission of operation reports, financial statements and other information pertain­ing to the Motor pool Division's management and directions; and

7)      To established a systematic inventory of all business establishments within the jurisdiction of Economic Enterprise.
