Public and private schools cater the city’s need for pre-elementary,
elementary, secondary, tertiary and formal education. Below shows the Directory of Schools,
school year 1998-1999 for the City of Pagadian.
Performance indicator in public elementary and secondary education is
presented on Table below.
The City has already Six (6) colleges, two (2) that offer
nursing/midwifery courses and maritime courses. There are also
five (5) technical vocational schools that offer short-term
courses.. Informal education is being handled and
catered by the DECS Non-formal Training Center at the City
Central School and by the TESDA
(Technical Education and Skills Development Authority) at
the Manpower Training Center located at Barangay Dao, this City.

Training Course/Programs for School year 1998-1999, respectively
